Catherine Street uses a variety of media to create ambiguous and,
often unsettling, meaning by transforming printed work through
drawing, adding text, layering and cutting. She finds inspiration
through the revival of disused materials, such as pulp fiction,
magazines and film posters, which she the entirely re-invents by
blending them with scientific diagrams and maps, as well as images
sourced on the internet.
